MAGEIA is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Liza Kay and was founded in 2019. The music can be characterized as progressive rock with a female lead, incorporating various influences such as folk, neo-classical, and oriental sounds.

On October 23, 2020, the band released their first 7-song album titled "MAGEIA," which garnered attention from the label LION MUSIC for a collaboration. This debut enabled MAGEIA to gain exposure on multiple platforms, including the esteemed Japanese music magazine BURRN!, the December 2020 issue of the rock and metal magazine Powerplay, radio stations in the UK and USA, as well as various YouTube channels and music blogger pages throughout Latin America.

The album BREATH OF FIRE was released on May 18, 2024, marking the continuation of Mageia’s spiritual journey.
